Users can register for the service through their Microsoft Account. To welcome new members, Movies Anywhere is giving away a free X-Men movie. Movies Anywhere is available at MoviesAnywhere.com where new users can start the registration process via the “Get Started” button. Microsoft account holders can sync their Movies and TV accounts to the the service. Any movies and shows will now appear in Movies Anywhere to be accessed on Windows and Xbox. Users should remember that Movies Anywhere also supports syncing with other platforms. This means iOS, Android, and other devices can be used to stream content. Movies Anywhere is a cloud-based streaming platform which used to show exclusive content from Disney. Last year, the service switched to accept content from other studios but is still owned by Disney.
Movies and TV
We reported last month that by integrating the service with Movies and TV, Microsoft could offer wider streaming support on iOS and Android. The companies Movies and TV app will be available on those platforms and now supports Movies Anywhere. Unfortunately, Microsoft has still not put an official date on when Movies and TV will reach the rival systems.
